Mentoplasty (chin surgery)

 

• Indicated in patients who want to improve the appearance of the chin when it is small or lacking definition.

 

• It can be achieved in most cases with the placement of an implant, or in more severe cases, by advancing the bone. It can be done in conjunction with a double chin liposuction.

 

• Local anesthesia and sedation, or general anesthesia.

 

• Ambulatory surgery.

 

• 5 to 7 days to resume daily activities. Light exercise can be resumed at 3 weeks after surgery, and intense exercise at 5 or 7 weeks.

 

• In the first-time consultation, we perform a cephalometric analysis by computer, as well as a digital projection of the possible result.
