Otoplasty (ear surgery)

Minimally invasive surgical procedure, indicated to correct alterations such as detached, large, sloping ears, as well as birth or acquired malformations of the ears.

With the technique we use, the incisions are made in the posterior fold of the ear, so that at the end of the healing process they are practically imperceptible.

Local anesthesia and sedation, or light general anesthesia.

Ambulatory surgery.

2 to 4 days to resume daily activities. Light exercise can be resumed at 3 weeks after surgery, and intense exercise at 5 or 7 weeks.

The lobes can be repaired when they are torn, a procedure known as lobuloplasty, performed under local anesthesia in the office and without downtime.
