Otoplasty (ear surgery)

 

• Minimally invasive surgical procedure, indicated to correct alterations such as detached, large, sloping ears, as well as birth or acquired malformations of the ears.

 

• With the technique we use, the incisions are made in the posterior fold of the ear, so that at the end of the healing process they are practically imperceptible.

 

• Local anesthesia and sedation, or light general anesthesia.

 

• Ambulatory surgery.

 

• 2 to 4 days to resume daily activities. Light exercise can be resumed at 3 weeks after surgery, and intense exercise at 5 or 7 weeks.

 

• The lobes can be repaired when they are torn, a procedure known as lobuloplasty, performed under local anesthesia in the office and without downtime.
